Creating Light with Kelsey

May 4, 2021

Today, I continue to talk about the process of when I first started publicly sharing my story and healing journey. The art show was right after I defended my thesis, and I thought there was no better way to keep the momentum going than to display my trauma art.

Key takeaways:

  • I was nervous to publicly display my emotionally raw art, but I knew this would be deeply healing for me and others
  • It was incredibly moving to see that my work, my voice, mattered
  • When we heal, we leave a trail of seeds that create the potential for growth within the collective
